Basketball

On Wednesday 29th March seven children from year 6 represented Goonhavern Primary School at the mid Cornwall school basketball school games qualifier. Taking part were 8 Primary Schools from the mid Cornwall area.
We had to play 7 matches. They were against Newquay Junior, Mount Charles, Roche, Bodmin, Fowey, Bishops Bronescombe, and Grampound. We won one match, drew one match and lost the other matches and finished in fourth place. We had lots of fun and we played brilliantly. It was a fantastic afternoon.
Taking part were James Dymond, Thomas Palmer, Will Marney, William Wright, Sienna Siddiqui and Chloe Walker. Well done to you all! Thank you to James’ Mum and Will’s Dad for taking us to the festival.
