Thank you for visiting Goonhavern Primary School and Nursery website. 

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this amazing school, filled with happy and enthusiastic children. Everyone here works hard as a team to deliver the very best for each and every child. In doing this, day after day, we aim to ensure that every child reaches their potential.

Each child is an individual and is treated that way. They each have their own interests, motivations and goals. To support this, we deliver a knowledge-rich, engaging curriculum to ensure children make progress throughout their time with us. 

We are proud to be at the centre of the local community and are pleased that many pupils parents also attended the school when they were young. 

This academic year, we are joining Truro and Penrith Academy Trust and we are incredibly excited to do this. It will enable us to continue to improve and offer the children within our school the very best start we can.
